C# is Yale's only Chinese a cappella group dedicated to exploring Chinese culture and language through music. Formerly known as Pentatonic, they were first founded in 2009 by Michael Fan '10 and his friends, who were all karaokephiles. Now they are comprised of mostly undergrads and their repertoire includes a variety of Chinese pop and folk music, as well as English songs inspired by Asian-American artists. Last year C# performed at Yale's US-China forum, which was an exciting gig for them! Additionally, this will be C-Sharps first Quad A!
